I remember when I was younger and there would be people in movies that would always remind themselves to take deep breaths or breathe in and out. It used to be a funny concept to me – why did people need a reminder to breathe? Now, I see the value in it. Sometimes we need to learn to let go. We need to take the things that make us happy and make us grow and leave the things that upset us and keep us stagnant behind.
Breathing is an exercise. While it’s necessary to stay alive, it’s also necessary for the mind and spirit. Breathe in. Breathe out. Take in the good. Release the bad. If there’s anything that needs to be on your daily to do list, it’s make sure you breathe.
